The islands are a dream.  Literally paradise, these small dots of land are home to an astonishing spectacle of abundant creation and, when Pele occasionally gets angry, awesome destruction.

Massive wildfires, however, are not native to the islands, and we as California residents understand all too well what this particular devastation does.
